Advice For Aspiring Bloggers.

1.Be prepared for giving up some "me" time so you can write a blog post.
This isn't so hard for me now but when I first started blogging I found this difficult because i'm not very good at timekeeping and I got sidetracked by other irrelevant things,But now i've realised that I can make this blog into something big and maybe turn into a income so Im willing to put my time and effort into making good content.

2.No one likes to read something they have seen a million times before. What I mean is this:There are particular post within the blogger community that have been done a million times over, and to be quite honest its getting boring.I used to write about a product that everyone else was writing about just to "fit in" and I didn't enjoy it ...The motto is this-Write about what you're interested in and not what you think is going to gain you readers because "its what all the other bloggers are doing"

3.This follows from my previous point but BE CREATIVE,UNIQUE AND ORIGINAL!.Dont follow the crowd.

4.A good picture will make a good post. One of my favorite blogger's Julia Paige told me this and I completely agree.A picture is what a reader will see first when debating if they should click on a blog post.Think of your blog post like a product if its not got good packaging no ones going to be attracted to it and therefore not going to buy it.

5.Enjoy it! If you're not enjoying blogging and then it may not be for you.You haft to be motivated in order to make good content.

Let me know in the comments,if you have any advice?

Massive Soap And Glory Review!

Soap and Glory Review

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't made a blog post in some time I have been very busy with some mocks but I'm getting back into it now! My little sister has recently bought a massive haul of Soap and Glory so I wanted to show you all and quote what she likes about each product! I'm madly in love with this brand and I have recently been using their eyeliners and eyebrow pencils (I will do a review on these some time in the future) so i'm very excited to tell you about their other products :)

First I'm going to share with you the foot and hand cream, I think its important we moisturize our hands and feet because we use them all the time, nobody wants dry feet haha! I'm going to quote my little sister Nina because she has used these products the most.
"I really like this foot cream because I have been suffering from really dry feet and now they are nice and smooth, same with my hands. I like to use the hand cream in the mornings and the foot cream after showers. I'm quite happy these products come in a big container because then they last longer but I wish I had a smaller one because its too big for me to take around when I'm out." -Nina

Next is the Moisture Lotion and Body Wash.  I really like this Orangeasm Body wash because whenever my sister uses it it makes the whole bathroom smell fresh and zesty, I'm sure going to buy it for myself!
"I really like this Body Wash because it makes my skin feel lovely and soft, very moisturized. I really enjoy the fresh scent it leaves on my skin, very fruity."
The Butter Yourself moisture lotion in my opinion is heavenly, I have used it myself. It left a great smell that stayed on me the whole day. I have looked up other reviews on this product, some people agree with me and others say its too sickly. But I suppose thats personal referance, Nina said it left her skin soft like a baby's bottom haha.

Sugar Crush Body Scrub! I really like this product, The smell is delicious and beautiful. I have experienced this scrub for myself and let me tell you it's a must have! It left my legs and arms feeling fresh and soft. I have no complaints what so ever.
"I really enjoy this scrub when I'm in the bath or shower. Especially after a long day it's really nice to snuggle up in bed smelling fresh like lemons and limes."

I think the righteous butter smells lush, me and Nina both have this and we both love it! It's great to put on after your showers or baths to just relax, feel and smell great.
"I really like this one, I love how its so thick and creamy, just what I want to moisturize my body."

Last but not least, the Whipped Clean Shower Butter!Unfortunatly I have not tried this luxery yet but Nina has.
"I think this one might be my favourite, the smell lingurs on my skin and I feeling like I have actually cleaned myself in the shower. It does great for my skin, makes it nice and smooth. I also like the fact it smells divine, like vanila and nuts."

Why We Started Blogging.

We all started blogging for different reasons, some people started to share their interest with an audience, and others started simply for fun.Today myself and Izzy are going to be individually telling you why we started blogging and the advantages and disadvantages of being a blogger ,and also some tips if you are looking to start a blog, and some advice for present bloggers.

Coleen- Personally for me this blog is a place where I can talk about whatever I want, and express my opinions to an audience that perhaps in theory would not listen if I shared these views verbally.I was really drawn to make the blog with Izzy because it seemed a great hobby and something that we can both be apart of.

Isabelle
I have always loved the idea and dream of being a blogger, it seemed so fashionable and enjoyable to do. I found out about blogging through watching YouTube beauty gurus. My little sister was making her own blog and I thought it was great and unsuccessfully made my own but later me and Coleen made this one together. I'm so blessed I can do something with my best friend that we both love and want to develop and do together as a team. Its great.

1.if you wish to start a blog be prepared for how much time it takes out of your day.

2.Your not going to get 100 views on a post just like that (let's be realistic)
Making good content and engaging with your readers on all social media platforms will help you gain readers. But mainly having good content that hooks a reader and makes them want to come back for more is what will make your blog grow

3.Dont over promote your blog | What I mean is ; don't comment on others people s blogs "hey would you mind checking out my blog" or spamming people's instagram feeds or twitters with links to your blog,it's not going to get you loyal readers that come back for every post.if they like your content they will find your blog in there own time.

Urban Decay Naked Flushed Review

For christmas this year I received the Naked Flushed Palette by Urban decay and I have been using it for a while now so I thought I would do a review.
Naked Flushed is a trio that consists of a Bronzer,Highlighter and a blush.

First Impressions-I was so excited when I received this,it felt so luxury, with the sleek compact design and the gold branding.I felt so sophisticated. When I opened the packaging I was really impressed by the size of the mirror which is in the lid of the palette, and its very handy when on the go and saves cramming a mirror into your makeup bag.

Bronzer-The bronzer is described by urban decay as a medium bronze but on my skin tone (pale) its more like a medium/dark.Obviously he tone of the bronzer will depend on what pallete you have.I have native. With all the products in this palette a little goes a long way as the pigmentation is really however this I find this powder is not suitable for contouring as its not matte and slightly orange toned. The bronzer has a really silky consistency and stays on the face for a good amount of time.

Highlighter-The highlighter is described as a "pale pink shimmer" which I totaly agree with-its super pretty and flateterimg for any skin tone.Although I find that if you put to much on your brush the highlighter goes chalky once applied to the face,so always be sure to tap the excesses of

Blush-Blush is described as a “bright pink It’s a brightened, light-medium pink with cool, blue undertones and a mostly matte finish. The texture was soft and finely-milled but powdery, so the color was somewhat buildable but easily sheered out as it was applied.

I did some swatches on my forearm but as you can see the highlighter did not really
show up due to my pale skin. But you can see the Bronzer (top) and the blusher (bottom)

My overall rating for this trio is 8 out of 10  due to the fact that I find the highlighter chalky and I find that the bronzer is a bit orange toned (on my skin) although this could be different for you,if so let me know your experience with this product in the comments.

Finally this retails at £22.00 and I think it would be a great addition to your makeup collection as you can use this palette for many things, for example you could use the bronzer in the crease of your eye and then highlight your brow bone with the highlighter. So it really is multifunctional.

Again let me know in the comments of what you think of this product or if your are going to purchase it in the future.
